Grapey nose and taste. Sweet and fruit forward. Some pear and grapefruit at the end.

Citrus fruit on nose. Some apple taste and very smooth. Not as crisp as some Sauvignon Blanc and very enjoyable.

Oaky at first sip but then the oak burns off. I didn't think I'd like it due to the oak but when that faded I ended up enjoying it. But of citrus and maybe stone fruit. It was good with a roasted chicken and some cheese before dinner.

Smells like a viognier, tastes fruit forward not too acidic. Pairs well with salmon or seabass

ose of banana, melon and lemon. Really nice wine. I love the acidity. Lemon, grapefruit, maybe a little cantaloupe and bite at the end.

Medium grapefruit nose with some mineral. On the mouth it has citrus and lots of mineral, a little bitter aftertaste lots of acid makes it nice and refreshing

Consistent with other reviews. Floral, citrus fruits. I found it a bit too acidic for my taste. Had a bit of a carbonated texture as well.

Decent color and a reasonable amount of citrus with mellon and pineapple perhaps. Moderately acidic. Citrus and mellon come through first, acidity later. Ever so slight bittness on the finish, but not unpleasant. From reading their site, it's no 100% SB and there's a small amount of barel aging going on.

Flabby tropical fruit. Bitterness near the end. No discernable finish. Nondescript flavor profile.

Perhaps I got a good bottle, but the 2009 Sterling SB is a pretty good drink. Having tried many earlier vintages and been disappointed, this is a step up. Medium rich mellon, fig up front, followed by citrus and some acid. Almost a waxy Alsace-like lingering finish. Bright, but not bitter; weighty, but not flabby. Great, no. But a good alternative if you find yourself in an area with limited wine selections. Pleased.
