I found this to be typical barbera; ruby-colored and with an earthy fragrance. Mild acidity with a medium finish; it was excellent with prime rib (leftovers from Xmas dinner). Not really complex, but enjoyable wine.

Wine showed dark ruby red in color, and had a hint of a berry taste. It was paired with pizza and was very good, but did leave a tart taste on the palette. Not a wine that can be drank with out food. Looking to try one from Italy.

A bit thinner than I recall without the big acids necessary for great food pairing

Dark garnet color with dark fruit, oak, and slight earthy aromas. On the palate light-bodied with tart blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla flavors with a mineral component. Medium finish

nose: strong smell of tar and leather taste: dark dark flavors, leather, blackberry, rich berry notes, medium to full body, full flavor and drawn out length ending with dried fruits and a touch of wood

Stick with the real Barbera (from Italy). There are many out there that are much better wines for a better price compared to Jacuzzi. Acidity is lacking and the fruit is very simple. Candied cherries and raspberry notes.

Light, sprightly barbera sourced from Mendocino Co. Raspberry, blueberry, and a touch of tannin. Light and lithe with some decent acidity. Paired nicely with a home prepared veggie pizza.
