Gnekow Family Winery Syrah Old Vine Campus Oaks

Blackberry, spice, bramble berry, hickory smoke, and plum on the nose. The same fruit on the palate as the nose, but also dark cherry, chocolate, and blueberry. Bold wine. Good flavor. Enjoyed with Argentine flank steak.

Raspberry, hickory, and plum on the nose. The palate has fruit and berry flavor and is slightly tart. Hints of licorice as well. Great wine but could stand some additional cellar time. Better this year than last though. Keep up the good work Campus Oaks.

Lots of big woodsy aromas on the nose such as hickory and oak with a lovely touch of blackberry. The BlackBerry carries through on the palate, accompanied by spice, pepper, and clove. Over all, this wine is rustic with a nice finish. Campus Oaks never disappoints.
