Finally coming to life and into drinking window. Good to drink now. Better to wait at least another year.

PnP. Sweet red fruit nose with a little wood. Thin mouth feel. Tannic. Not much fruit. Smoothed out immediately after single decant. But still thin, hollow somehow. Improving after an hour

This tastes much better than the first time I drank it in January 2021. I made Bolognese and used this in the sauce and drank it along. It was good, a little raisiny, and very dark and 'brooding.' the hard to take tannins seemed mostly gone (although I did let it breathe for ~2hrs before consuming). Later drank on its own while folding laundry, and I'd say it did better with the food but not unpleasant on it's own.

Dried Dark Cherry and leather, forest floor, stone. The fruit is still ripe on the palate (after breathing for several hours), but backed by high tannins that build on each other. Medium acidity.

Dark fruit, chunky and very structured core tags it as Italian Red in my mind, fairly bretty, finishes on nice acidity. Not a lot of complexity but certainly the full spectrum experience of flavors and mouthfeel and finish. Seeing others calling out $10-12, at that price range it's a steal. More like mid-$20s here on the US west coast, not bad at that price, especially if you can handle a little brett.

Tight. Monolithic, raw fruit. Needs years.

Imagine yourself indulging in a dinner on a terrace overlooking Tuscany. Your host is pouring this wine from a carafe. No label; the wine is not the main attraction tonight. But it’s tasty and food friendly. That’s this wine. A bit rustic and light, with cranberries and cedar on the palate. A refreshing, take-another-sip-and-enjoy-the-evening finish. At $12 a pop, this is a good value. Worth Seeking Out.

No detailed tasting note, but I drank a couple of bottles of this over the last week and liked it so much I ordered a full case - so felt I ought to give this wine some defence / support on CT. On opening, sure it has some slightly rough acidity and evident tannins on the pallet, but after a couple of hours of air the hard edges round off and the fruit & flavour open up. I didn't pick …

Ruby colored, on the nose fruity notes, plum, blueberry jam, honey, overwhelmed by oak notes (unpleasantly), alcohol. On the palate tannic and almost bitter from the oak.. poorly balanced, lacks the substance.
