Compared to the same vintage same vinyard Riesling 'D' this is leaner on the palate with a more focused acidity. Both are good wine! 10% ABV

Pale straw in color. On the nose, the usual petrol notes with some white flower notes. As it warms up, there's crushed stones and apricots. One the palate, focused lime, grapefruit, a touch of grassy/green notes with gripping, bright acidity. Medium length finish, medium in body. Nice wine! 12.5% ABV.

Opened following a 2014 vintage of the same wine. The perfect petrol nose I like in a riesling. On the palate, much more youthful and the lime / citrus quite a lot more aggressive. I believe I'll enjoy watching it evolve and soften over the next five years or so,

very pale straw colour and quasi-medium body. petrol and wax on the nose give way to starfruit, coriander and citrus zest. these concentrated citric notes drive the mouthfeel in an envelope of pith and tart juice… in the space between some orchard fruit and spice notes come thru, particularly as it warms. very good length still dominated by lemony acidity. dry and concentrated Riesling that needs another year to two to smooth out. upside potential here. 12.5% AbV; all-stainless treatment.

Very good off-dry Riesling - flowers and gasoline. Drinks well now, but will probably be better in 3-5 years.

Off dry, juicy acid, hint of petrol with citrus and stone fruit. Beautiful with a cheese platter. Tasted at the vineyard.
