2025 BWC Summer Barbeque Magnums (and half Magnums) (Petts Wood) : One of the best Muscadets I've had in years. The nose melds a lean, slightly saline character (with some salted almonds in the mix) with something more honied. Almost a touch of nougat. In the background there is a lemon barley water component. Palate is rich and classy. The acids are a point and there is a lovely savouriness to it. With air some Galia melon emerges.

Floral and salty. A bit of weight (lees I assume) but with good energy and structure. A winning summer wine. 12%

Still drinking excellently. Nose smells like summer - lemon oil, saline, sea breeze. Palate is much the same with some ripe melon on the medium-long finish. Gulpable.

Fabulous Muscadet. Very pale colour and a few bubbles but not a worry. Superb palate of citrus, Melon, apple, sherbet perhaps. Incredibly vibrant.

Drinking this wine kind of late but still shows nice lemon / melon fruit. Creamy texture with a medium 4-5 second finish.

Fantastic salty tangy minerally aged Muscadet. Great with fish and chips!

Don't tend to drink much muscadet; it's a tad out of fashion I suspect. But this might get me back into drinking more. Grapey notes. Sea shell like minerality. Fresh. Thirst quenching. Yet still quite rounded, plump and rich. Excellent value.

Lovely Muscadet. Light and delicate, crisp green apples. Seemed to have a bit of petillance without actually having it. And only 12%. Great summer aperitif or beach wine. And excellent VFM at 8 pounds.

Very fine example of a Muscadet sur lie. Lovely sweet grapey aromas. Very fragrant and floral, reminiscent of spring. Palate is rounded, creamy and quite full, with a wonderful depth of fruit, and fresh acidity providing a well balanced wine. Excellent value.

Gorgeous nose - lots of lovely crisp green fruit with some gooseberry and honeydew melon character. Crisp, yet really quite full on the palate. Lots of depth and interest here. Huge length. Lovely muscadet.
