Gorgeous nose on this wine - deep, dark fruit, baking spice, and some flowers, maybe roses. Full bodied but not overly ripe on the palate. There definitely is a little vanilla going on. Starting to pick up some leather, cedar, and sous bois on the back end. Super tasty right now, probably would be better in 5-10 years.

This is superb now. Unclear whether it can get any better with age. It has improved a lot from release. It was solid on release, it's superb now. Very earthy, good body, robust, not fruit-forward (thank God!).

Initially I was surprised by this Cab as it immediately showed different than all other McM cabs that I have tried. Soft and elegant--very smooth right off the bat. Darker fruit on this one and a spice that I can't place. The mouthfeel of this cab is fantastic and really lingers towards the back of the mouth. YUM
