Irvine Merlot Springhill

Good maturity and it has done well as a Merlot. I think the nose is almost Irvine style. Not bad. 这个倒是不错，成熟度还可以，品种的特性也有，特别是香气已经具有一些辨识度，很好。

House of Townsend portfolio tasting leftovers. Dark dense purple garnet almost saturated. Plum cassis milk chocolate coffe cherry and sage on the nose. Medium weight with powdery tannins. Ripe round black and red fruits touch of herb and earth. Ripe round balanced and complex. A revelation and awesome value.

Beautiful silky smooth red wine, just like a well made merlot should be. Not many wineries do merlot well, but this is a standout.
