Tenute Fiorebelli Amarone della Valpolicella Coste Bianche

Dried fruit and a splendid bitterness in the finish, like a good cup of coffee. Not a punch in the face, like some Amarones can be. Quite lovely!

Notes Dark cherry, plum, earth (almost red brick), dark roast coffee, and tobacco on the nose. Tasted of dark fruit and earth. Tannins were not nearly as strong as expected and balanced well with the acidity and fruit. Not as “big” as other Amarone I’ve had, but enjoyable. I’d say this is ready to drink now.
