Los Cowboys Torrontés

I liked this Torrontes more than most. Sometimes the in your face fruitiness and too much tangerine are overwhelming for me. This one is relatively civilized. It comes from an area not in Mendoza which has to have some influence in the tasting difference. It is fruity, but also kind of rustic in a stems and skins way. Very vibrant and expressive, it is hard not to like this wine. It is crisp and dry. Nice spicy finish.

really good inexpensive white

Nice fruity and aromatic white. Kind of like what is described on the bottle - nose of light apples, melon, honey...this is all echo'd on the palate which is a little sweet'ish, but tolerable. Almost medium bodied feel. Would like a little more acid. Nice when for price.
