Still drinking well and showing some earthy barnyard which I did not expect. A core of red cherry and meatiness is at the center and the earthiness comes in on the end. Moderate tannins that still show some gripping sweetness.

Popped and poured. Was really surprised by this one. A little tight the first night but drinking really well on night two. Not sure if further cellaring will improve the wine but it should be able to last a couple more years.

Soft and elegant aromas of plum, red cherry, and fading oak. Luscious yet soft and silky on the palate. More plum and a little sour cherry flavors come out. Dry and a little tannic on the finish.

- Crimsom color with fast forming legs and aromas of cherry, raspberry and strawberry. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry, black pepper and bacon with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Vinturi into decanter for 45 before dinner. Amazing nose, just pops. full crushed red fruit on the full nose. Full mouth full Merlot, with slight spicy notes on the backside.

The nose is still full and bright. Full nose of cedar and cherry. The wine is aging well. Some spice and leather now on the finish. Maybe 1-2 more years, Max!

This a very well made wine. Aromas and flavors of fresh plums, dark cherries, some dirty earth, and a little spice. Well balanced acidity, fruit, and tannins. Medium body wine with a rustic Italian feel. ($11)

So smooth. Merlot is so underrated. This wine has very good legs. The nose is enticing spice and dark rich fruit. The finish is still very smooth. I'm ordering more.

Lucious. The wine fills the mouth entirely. The color is rich, ruby red. The nose is very enticing, crushed dark, red fruit. A small hint of alcohol at first, but it burns off after the wine opens up. We opened the wine 30-40 minutes before it opened up. The wine is very smooth, with a medium-long finish. The wine is showing well right now, probably will continue to show well. A well rounded, well produced merlot.

Smooth all over. The nose is currant and slight black pepper. The wine is a bit of tart cherry, but still very smooth. My wife describes the wine as "a blanket on the couch next to the fire". The wine is cozy in that respect. Dark purple in color, the wine screams smooth and backs it up! A must for your cellar and it should last longer, another 5 years at least.

Popped and poured, beginning on 12/18. Nose of cherry, spice and cedar. A full bodied and complex wine of pedigree and sophistication.Day 2: This wine has opened and I am noticing the 14.7% alc.on the finish, but this has a wonderful rich, and creamy texture along w/flavors of dark fruits, chocolate and spice. Very mild, smooth Merlot. Nose of bright red fruit. Surprisingly forward for such a young wine. Good fruit, short finish with a hint of tartness. The finish is concerning. All the fruit will help it age, maybe 3-5 years.
