Domaine Paraza Syrah

Medium ruby colour. The wine is not showing much even after 90 minutes in the decanter. The fruit is somewhat backward though there is some bramble. It has a greenish acidity and is lighter than expected, which actually suits the wine nicely. Again the fruit does not really come out to play. There is not much tannin and there is not much of anything. It is a bit better than short, but has a severe bitter element at the end.
