Lots of Brett. Undrinkable. Corked and put in fridge. Day 2 same thing. Day 3 now there is fruit but still tainted.

Opened one hour in advance. Light aroma of red fruit and anise. Clean flavors of cherry up front, tart lemon finish. Firm backbone, linear, pleasurable, correct. Very good basic burgundy at a decent price.

Pop and pour. In the zone. No brett. Very expressive. along the lines of previous notes.

Followed over 4 hours open. Still a lot of garrigue, funk, and a little VA for the first hour or so. Once it settles down, there is toasted cherry Pop-tart, mushroom, leather, and underbrush in the bouquet. Firm acidity and tannins with a long finish. Could probably use another few years. 5+11+16+8= 90

Wonderful aroma, reminds me of being there, in a cellar. Damp earth, fermenting must, and floral scents. A palate of whole fruits, dark raspberries and blueberries. With a little lilt of acidity. I don’t know if I’d age this any further it’s such a pleasure now.

Opened 2 days ago. Had a sip, in which the wine showed a lot of reduction, then left corked on the counter unrefrigerated. Notes from today....this strategy is a winner, as this is excellent today. On the nose: soft mushroom and cinnamon, nutmeg, clove spice, then loads of wild strawberry. On the palate: very good acidity and density, strawberry and pomegranate...maybe a touch sour, but so juicy, and a lovely softly tannic finish.

Notes on the 2nd day open. Dark ruby color with a thin rim and heavy sediment present in the punt. Profound nose that is completely dominated by poop and oak when first opened. By the second day, the funk had relaxed a little to show beautiful floral, spice, and ripe cherry notes. Palate has plenty of tannin and acidity and a bit of a high heat note. Early on, that funk and oak were just too much to bear and …

The 2012s of this wine from this producer were so funky as to.almost be flawed. Sometimes, the reduction/funk would blow off on day 2, but sometimes not. This wine was funky and reductive to start, and definitely better on day 2. Good earth and red fruit on the nose and palate, good acidity on the palate, and vanishing tannin. When the funk resolved on day 2 (yesterday), it was much better. Today, it was still good, if a bit flat, …

This was an excellent find from Garagiste for just under $30. Needed some time being exposed to air. Made in quite a natural style, and some of the odd aromas were lessened after a few hours, and gone the next day. It did drink superbly on Day 2 and I would seek this out again (and probably age it a bit more next time). Very complex, multi-layered wine for the modest appellation.

Dri king exceptionally well. Seems a bit young.

Similar to prior bottle; very good, drinking well young and should age nicely for mid-term if desired. Solid value.

This is very good and certainly shows the ripeness of the 2015 vintage; dark color with ripe red and black berry fruit on the nose, underlying stony mineral scents and a bit of spice. The palate is rich, yet definitely brawny. Significant structure and acidity certainly balance the ripe fruit, but the tannins are ripe and not really rustic. This is lovely and while I wanted to try a bottle young I think this will definitely benefit from 2-5 years …
