We drank this with a beef stew that Ann whipped up and they paired very well. Nicely balanced fruit, acidity and tannins and somewhat elegant. We tried some through a Venturi I received for christmas and it brought out a little mint and softened the wine a little. Without the venturi, the wine was a little tighter with same brambly notes. I liked this wine and wish we had more. This was part of a mixed french case TC gave …
