Fresh, like chomping into a ripe, crispy apple. There is a touch of residual sugar, but you hardly sense it. Just a subtle hint of petrol, notes of stones, lemon rinds. Incredible complexity for the price. I admit I am still a bit shocked that Niagara can produce such a good, inexpensive riesling. Drink now. Food pairing: apéritif, spicy Thai cuisine with either seafood or chicken.
