Quite big, sweet-toned and waxy nose with aromas of smoky earth, some resinous character, a little bit of bruised apple, light perfumed notes of apple blossom and a hint of candle wax. Dark puplered. Promising nose with earth tones. Hints of blood, metals and brown sugar. The palate is not that promising. Green palate with elements of raw potato and dark red potato peel. Rough structure nautralizes sausages and cheese with ease. A powerful wine.

Lilla med mørk kjerne. Lukt av mørke bær, samt noe flyktig som er vanskelig å beskrive (kanskje hint av stall og jordsmonn). Saftig smak av mørke bær. Mye smak. Godt integrert syre. Litt tanniner mot slutten, men etter noen timers lufting i karaffel ble disse tanninene mer bløte og mindre dominerende.
