The wine has advanced a bit since last tasted 1.5 yrs ago. The nose has turned a bit more muddy, a bit more decaying leaves on top of those red fruits. Still quite light in body, acidity is medium, tannins are completely gone. Finish is short to medium. In the mouth as well, this is turning just a touch tertiary. Still a perfectly enjoyable drink though this one isn't for the cellar.

Quite excellent savory and organic earthy nose with pretty, balanced flavors. Held up over two evenings.

Clear relatively light ruby At first glance, this seemed like light regional Bourgogne, but with 45 minutes the nose opened up dramatically with haunting earthy flavors, bright choke cherry acidity Quite nice, needs significant airtime

In a great place. Soft tannins, raspberry, strawberry, long gentle finish. Drank 1/2 with salmon in dill mayo, 1/2 with chicken in kale-based vegetable platter

Opened this to pair with Boeuf Bourguignon. An outstanding BR, as always. Added weight and depth on day 2. The palate is darker on day 2 + mushrooms/forest floor development.

Light and a simple Bourgogne, it went well with Turkish food. Low alcohol of 12%. I think I enjoyed it more than my previous bottle, from earlier this year.

I'm still very much dipping my toe into Burgundy, and as I do so, I've heard many times "producer over vineyard". Well this is a good example of how true that saying is. This is a very good producer making a lovely wine labelled simply as "Bourgogne". Not even a lieu-dit. It's expensive for a Bourgogne, but is definitely a step up in quality compared to most. Still young at 5 years old. Acid is medium, nice smooth tannins, a …

First of 3 bottles I bought of this vintage. I think it is ready to drink now, and I'd be surprised if it improved over the next 2 years. I shared this with my wine group at an Indian restaurant, and it held its own vs the spices in the food. Not very complex, but a nice wine for the price I paid.

Unmistakably Hudelot-Noellat nose; ethereal and intoxicating. It's been about 18 months since my previous bottle and it improved greatly since then. Red-fruited profile, excellent balance, elegant and delicious. Fuller body now. 12% alc. Medium+ finish. Drinks like a solid village level. Outstanding bottle of Bourgogne.

Fortsatt en meget bra Bourgogne Rouge! En litt annen flaske enn den jeg drakk i fjor, da dette var en mer utviklet utgave, men fortsatt fin frukt og dybde for nivået.

Mid to full ruby. Nose initially seems quite autumnal, also with a slight hint of maderisation, but this seems to lift to reveal a slight hint of vanilla over the wild strawberry fruit. Bright red fruit, a densely silky, creamy texture, strawberry lightening to a mix of strawberry and cranberry. Very smooth with a sense of luxe for a BR. In a lovely spot. ***

This was a pretty tasty bottle, but it lacked any kind of complexity or any of the earthy funk that I especially love in Pinot Noir, and I would rate the QPR on this bottle pretty low, as the quality of Pinot Noir from Oregon that you can get for the same price ($30ish bucks) is miles above. That being said, this had great intensity of red fruit and zippy, mouth-watering acidity. Sour pie cherries were dominant on the nose …

Bright mid to full ruby. Red fruited nose. Densely silky, this is consistent with a bottle 16 months ago, slowly putting on weight without compromising the silky, floaty red fruit. Redcurrants now quite evident, and sweet ones without any of the tartness that they often signal. Fresh, poised and very drinkable. Heading towards top ***

Clear ruby garnet Super fresh bright red fruit Simple and perfect Bourgogne. I’d consider drinking soon while it’s so fresh Though the very nice balance suggests this may rest gracefully

Just plain delicious. Abundant dark fruit but also some florals and spice that make you want to keep smelling. Not subtle but with with a definite delicate side which persists after you swallow. Bit of tannic structure on the end. Complete. Really hits its stride about an hour after opening.
