Nice and fruity, simple aromas of blue and black berries, almost no tannins, light to medium mouth feel. Nice enough, but it's too sweetly fruity -- in a cheap California Syrah / "runts" kind of way, though not over the top -- and boring for my taste. Fans of simple, fruit-forward Merlot would probably like it. Perhaps would go well with burgers or barbecue in the backyard on a hot summer day. An OK value for $6.

Aerate to decanter. Color medium red with some dark tones, medium body. Bouquet of high tone red berries, earth, steel wool, and oak. On the palate, tart focused real raspberries, complete with snappy astringent raspberry seeds, and oak. Simple, but the concentration of fruit flavors is at least nice. OK value at 8. May repeat.

This sucked. Tasted very cheap.

Palate: Dry, medium acidity, medium+ tanin, low alcohol, -medium- body, medium intensity blackberry and oak. Medium lenght. Good qpr wine. Ready to drin but can age. 12.5% alco (D 7, F 5.5; Natl.) FW
