From the wine list, The Common Room, Le Quartiers Francais, Franschhoek. Distinct black plum nose, which carried over to the palate. Slightly medicinal, and not quite as harmonious as the '07 tasted earlier. Not sure if this one is all pinotage, or has minor blends like the latter vintage. But attractive, nonetheless, paired with lamb meatballs or chorizo tapas.
