Drank at Toque in Montreal at a dinner with co-workers. Paired with both quail and duck dishes. Decanted for about an hour. Although a bit light on the palate, really good showing and great pairings with both dishes! I'm glad I neglected to view the CT notes and CT score for this wine before picking this from the restaurant's wine list. Amazing QPR IMO and was happy to find and buy some of this at the nearby SAQ bring back …

En bouche, le fruit domine, les tanins maintiennent la charpente discrètement, l'acidité et un peu l’astringence du cassis. Bonne équilibre. Persistance moyenne. Agréable.

Belle couleur tuilée, d'abord discret au nez, puis s'ouvre graduellement sur des arômes de fruits noirs, de prunes, de fleurs rouges et de bois. D'intensité modérée, bien équilibré malgré une certaine astringence, c'est un vin encore très fruités pour l'âge. Pas spécialement complexe mais agréable à boire maintenant et pour 4-5 ans encore.

I love the opportunity to drink a mature left bank cru bourgeois from a fantastic vintage. This 2005 Moulin de Citrans is elegant. Slight tawny coloured rim. Nose: Nice tertiary bouquet, very floral, blackcurrant, touch of vanilla. On the palate quite smooth, delicate and many layers. Good length. J'adore!
