Calcagno Etna Arcuria

A little bolder than the average Etna Rosso. Nose of violets, orange peel and raspberry. There was also a subtle metallic-ish note as well that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It's a little larger on the palette than you expect, with maybe a little less acid than you'd think too. It also feels tighter wound than other Etnas that have a laced-together quality. Everything is a little sharper and tighter here. At $27 it's a fair price, but …
