More golden in color than the Coche-Bouillot. Also, showing more age and complexity. I think this is drinking well if you appreciated more aged notes, and I preferred this one, but Ann preferred the younger C-B.

Dark golden yellow, beautiful nose of grapefruit, savoury, bees wax, good on the palate but not particularly complex nevertheless loved it

I am perplexed at the low scores by others. Did you open this early? At 21 years, this wine is AWESOME. Minerally, balanced, delicious!

a very nice mature Meursault. Nice complexity, no signs of oxidation. Not sure how long this wine will remain in this state but drinking very well now and unliikely to improve.

La Paulee Luncheon; 11/19/2009-11/23/2009 (Osvaldos) : Sweet honeyed pineapple nose. Smells alsmost like a vouvray. Weak white fruits that seemed kinda lean. A bit assy with warm buttery nutty yellow jackfruits.

Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin Singapore, La Paulee (Osvaldo Ristorante Italiano, Maxwell Chambers) : Some nice stuff here, but I thought this may have been marred by a touch of oxidation. Nose had dried yellow fruits and nuts. Palate was pretty much alive, but far less lively than the 1994 Perrieres. I got some bread notes, sweet, honeyed yellow fruit and touches of mineral. Oily, but balance. Finish was sticky and clinging with lots of quince flavours. Still more than …
