Medium sweetness, medium body, lower acidity; very drinkable. Good berry taste.

Quite good for the price, did not realize until I read the back that this was not a Rioja, I went out shopping for Rioja Crianzas for some midweek dinner wines and brought back a wine it from Emporda with no Tempranillo but a blend of Cab, Merlot and Syrah along with Garnacha...it was not a "dead" New World style, it had some acid and showed good balance despite there being plenty of dark fruits.
