A polished, California-styled Sauvignon Blanc that leans more into texture than overt sharpness. The nose opens with ripe citrus—meyer lemon and mandarin—layered with soft tropical tones of pineapple and guava, alongside a subtle herbal thread that reads more like fresh-cut grass than anything aggressively green. There’s a faint creamy lift, likely from a touch of lees or restrained oak influence, giving the wine a rounded entry. Above average in quality and value if at $17.

Ordered off the wine list @ the beach house restaurant at Pacific Grove, CA, paired with Scallop pot pie that was more like a chowder ( very good none the less). Initially serve too cold but after this warmed a bit the peach, apple and citrus appeared which was backed by firm acidity making this an excellent pairing with shellfish. Outstanding QPR!

Nice nose of citrus and floral. Nice balance of acid and honey on the palate. Well done by a winery I associate with great reds

Pale yellow in color, medium fruit aromas with a palate of pear and mango, a touch of green melon. Not a lot of acidity for zip, nor detectable minerality, causing it to go a bit flat on the medium-short finish.

Almost clear in the glass, crisp with bright acids that wake up the tongue, tropical notes, citrus, under ripe pear. Refreshing.

Pleasant summer pale yellow wine, with fairly typical sauvignon blanc nose, and flavors. A little thinner on the finish than others, but not enough to affect the enjoyment. Crisp acid and floral notes that were enjoyed by both casual and interested wine drinkers. We will buy and consume more bottles in the next couple of months.

Really lovely summer wine. Reasonably priced and great value. Perfect for parties. Crisp, refreshing, without being biting and no bitter aftertaste. Pineapple and grapefruit nose. Light yellow- green tinged straw color. Asian pear and minerally.

Wow! Surprising! Opens on the nose with lemon peel, honey, some light white flowers, fresh and clean. On the tongue its got inviting tropical notes of pineapple and guava with a clean strike of acid finished with oyster shell, a slight minerality. Pretty complex and inviting. Kept going back for more! Perfect for the summer and BBQ or with some great Thai curry. Great QPR at $15

Not many producers make SB in Paso. 5 months stainless steel. Nose is clean style, crisp white flowers, citrus of lemon peel, light tropics like slight pineapple. Palate is juicy, pleasant, citrus layers, some must, some sweet grapefruit but not tart, lemongrass, refreshing style, pretty decent QPR.

A Few Blind Cali Whites (My Place - Washington, DC) : Light gold color. Bursting with white peach and guava on the nose, but some bright lime and sea breeze notes, along with a rather complex mixture of grass, herbs and peppers. Full bodied but brisk acid keeps it fresh and tingling on the tongue. Loads of green pear, Granny Smith apple and lime drizzled on top. So very tangy and green-fruit dominated, but also shows some richer elements of …

Ugh! Very sour, I've tasted vinegar that wasn't as bitter, Used for cooking after un-puckering. In fairness, it could have been the shipping/handling, but in any event, it did not fare well on my taste buds.

Crisp, full of pineapple, grapefruit and a touch of honeysuckle. A surprise pleasure for a CA sauvignon blanc, in the style of Marlborough. Drank very cold with fajitas
