The color of this one is darker than I'd like, making me worry that this may not last more than a few more years, but the color is the only danger sign. Honey, apricots, brown sugar, coconut, candied orange peel, and nutmeg--this wine is incredibly vivid in the mouth and goes on and on and on with an endless aftertaste. A perfect summer day in a bottle. Apricots, honey, Seville orange peel, peaches, caramel, maybe vanilla or even a faint faint hint of coconut. Lovely acidity. Incredibly intense and almost endless aftertaste. Just a delight! The wine is caramel-colored, which makes me think that it would probably be a good idea to finish these in the next 3 or 4 years, but there are no danger signs other than the color itself. While some at the dinner enjoyed this dessert wine, I thought it was a little beyond prime. The juice was still enjoyable but it lacked a vibrant acidity. As a result, I found it a little dull.

A bit on the sweet side with no acidic backbone to back it up. Feel like this is past it’s prime

Peach smell, honey, melon, smooth to drink, yummy overall, liked it a lot!

A very serious and delicious dessert wine, at a reasonable tariff ($28 from Last Bottle). Gives mid-tier Sauternes a run for its money, in a slightly spicier style.

MNB: sundries (Home (Noe st)) : (blind) Brilliant medium amber with slight gold and copper. Nose: med-intensity, some sour dried apricot, some lees impression, no overt botrytis, no new oak, smells relatively youthful - slight oxidation. SLight hint of VA - nailpolish remover. 80-100g/L Medium alcohol - 12% High acid no bitterness. Process: Botrytized? - probably not - no overt botrytis. Drying of grapes? - maybe not since it's not very oxidatice, not much VA Vin santo - Italy? Or …

Pretty solid qpr. Expected apricot and brûlée.

Not a big nose, some stone fruit, a it of toffee on palate, moderate sweetness with enough sweetness to carry it. Good but not great wine. But a good value.

Tastes just like Dolce but affordable!!!! Love it!

Notes of Turkish apricots indeed, but botrytis seems to be only minimal. Full-bodied, viscous, with lemon rind notes on the backpalate and a long finish of dehydrated apricots. Could use a bit more acidity. 12.5% ABV. 90-91

Nice stage of development, beautiful in every way. Deep and balanced. On the level of good (if not the greatest) well developed Sauternes.

A very concentrated fruity wine. Pineapple honey apricot etc, everything can be found in this wine. As good as it is sweet.
