Cool! A sophisticated drop that is very satisfying to drink. Aromas of ripe fruits, lemon tart and a hint of almond. Fine beads. Medium-bodied but weighty, it has zest and excitement. Quite sexy! Ripe fruit and mineral / chalky notes to finish. Drink now to 4+ years.

This is SO enjoyable! If you look for a hurting, bone dry „terroir“ grower champagne or some natural cidre like rotting apple stuff or some lemon, lemon refreshing stuff - go look elsewhere. This is rich, round, walnut, brioche gorgeous stuff with some dosage. Not ultra complex in the end, but oh this (I have to admit it’s an older bottling so some maturing time which is good) sooo good. Not quite as vibrant as the last time I tasted this (not convinced it was stored properly in the shop), and somewhat muted nose. Still lovely. High acidity and good concentration, with some citrus and minerality. Hints of brioche only. Still a good buy.

A significant step-up from Taittinger’s standard NV with better juice and longer aging. Wonderfully easy drinking: comforting flavours of apple, lemon, almond, pastry, sherbert, and honey. Quite sweet with a slight bitterness on the finish. Well balanced.

딱 따니 거품이 폭주했다가 금세 가라앉는다. “상온에서 오래 구르다 왔나 보다” 싶은 첫인상. 스파클링은 결국 탄산감이 매력인데, 이 부분이 죽어 아쉬움이 남았다. 다만 향은 여전히 매력적이다. 청사과와 잘 익은 배 껍질의 상큼함이 먼저 치고 올라오고, 뒤이어 브리오슈 빵결이 은근히 깔린다. 마지막엔 카라멜이 살짝 녹아드는 달콤함이 더해져, 코로 맡을 때만큼은 기대치에 부합한다.
