Beautiful yellow/golden hue. Perfectly balanced. Was amongst the guests favorite wines. Notes of tropical fruits. Absolutely delicious.

Ripe apricot and full body but lite oak. Everyone really liked it. Served with crab cakes.

Pale gold color. Developing, med aromas of vanilla, pear, flint, kumquat, green apple, almond. Med(+) body, high acidity, dry, long finish. Has some grippy texture and is more balanced and richer (and better) than younger 2020. Very enjoyable now but likely to age well next 5 years.

did not even have a chance to taste it, but it was downed very quickly by the guests. there was another chardonnay that was barely touched, so must have been OK.

Last bottle of a case. Wanted to see how it aged, because we were not thrilled with the aging of the regular Grgich Chardonnay. The Miljenko ages better. Certainly it mellows, but in a good way. We will make sure to save some of our new Miljenko vintages for further aging.

Always a very reliable bottle to serve. Brought to London and drank at same time with a Puligny Montrachet that, in London, was equivalently priced to the Grgich in California. Both were very good, but I preferred the Miljenko Chardonnay. It had a cleaner more focused taste with a bit less oak.

Really great bottle of Chardonnay. It stands up well to much more expensive bottles from other producers. Grgich makes several versions of Chardonnay, some cheaper and some more expensive than the Miljenko. The odd thing is, at least from what we were told, is that the grapes and barrels etc. for all their versions of Chardonnay are basically the same. The only major difference is the length of aging in the barrel. This version is longer in the barrel than …

Gargantuan Grgich. Lovely medium gold pour into my Eisch crystal glass. Looks like liquid summer. Medium to full bodied, with massive legs. On the nose, immediately transported to flower gardens in full bloom, with notes of orchard fruits. On the palate, gorgeous waves of bright lemons, ripe apricots, and river minerals. Sumptuous texture without oak heaviness. This Grgich has spoiled me. I only want to drink more of it, though I have just one other bottle nestling in the cellar. …

Tasted at a cheese/wine pairing at the winery. Notes of honey & guava on the nose. Well integrated oak. Not in the oaky/buttery style. More along a rich, burgundy. Delicious.

Might be our favorite Chardonnay. Grgich Hills makes 4 different Chardonnay's. This one has the least amount of oak taste. In our opinion, it tastes much closer to the style of French white Burgundy's
