Purchased on release, stored at 55 degrees. Amazing that this tasted so fresh, with fine persistent bead structure, fairly full but dry fruit profile of not fully ripe pear, apricot and citrus, good finish. and better than many higher-priced non-vintage French champagnes.

Clean, well-made, uncomplicated. The DC vintage brut is generally reliable and this bottle was consistent. Some yeast on the nose, bright, nice balance, elusive notes of white peach and lychee.

Struck me as a fine, sparkling chardonnay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, very enjoyable. Clean, crisp, good flavor but not complex. Seems a reliable choice for less expensive bubbles.

High acid and somewhat green in the taste. One of my companions said, "It tastes like Grüner Veltliner with bubbles." Quite apropos.

Similar to previous bottle, good bubbles, actually keeps a beer head, lots of flavor, good balance, has that Champagne taste but it never really opened up with complex flavors, since this wine is a vintage wine, other vintages may do better as the wine is very well made.

This was surprisingly good. I tend to be picky with my bubbles, but this hit all the check boxes, especially for the price.

Pale yellow with not very vigorous bubbles. Yeasty with a touch of citrus, it seems a bit past its prime. Drink up!

A good showing for a steady performer. Key lime, almonds, and bread waft from the nose. The palate is full and tensile, and the crisp, white orchard fruit, green apple, and ocean spray flavors are lifted by an attractive cut and a creamy mousse. Very satisfying.

US Trip - California; 8/6/2019-8/15/2019 (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Napa) : Pale lemon, nearly greenish, and fine steady beads. Mostly of white flowers and lemon flowers, and powdery, on the nose. Some lemons, almond nuts, yeast and Brioche on the palate, and the fine beads had contributed to its creaminess as well. A pretty nice one

It should warrant a higher score due to its excellent QPR. Served at 45 degrees F. Fragrant nose of white fruits/flowers. Beautiful palate of crisp creamy lemon/pear accented w/toast and subtle almond notes. For a 10 yr. old bottle this showed none of the occasionally found oxidized apple pie tastes found in many older NV French champagnes; which isn't objectionable if it's otherwise balanced and not too heavy. Tiny persistent bubbles that Taittinger is known for.

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate New Year's Day. this is an amazing product which performs well above its price point. paired with lobster tail in pesto sauce and caviar/cream cheese resting on endive. also had shredded cabbage and avocado salad. we have enjoyed domaine carneros from several vintages over the past few years. have also tasted domaine carneros side by side with taittinger at boca bacchanal dinner. it always shows well. the last time we had the …

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate "Champagne Day". we have been enjoying domaine carneros from several vintages over the past few years. this is the first time that we are having the 2009. the wine is made in a consistent style which is most enjoyable. i favor sparklers that offer generous yeast and toast-which this one does. i also appreciate the persistent tiny bubbles. nice stone fruit overlay and rich body. this product offers great qpr. fully mature. …

The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit and lemon. It tastes like grapefruit, lemon, mineral and stoniness. The body is light. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Disappointing in that it lacked pizazz. Nice color and good bubbles, balanced but not Champagne taste which would be OK if it had some other characteristic that stood out, WS review is way over the top; Would not drink again as there are too many sparkling alternatives.

Shockingly good wine. Apricot, pears, peaches all expressed in this wine. Big almost cava mouth feel with BIG effervescent bubbles. Not as refined as better champagne but a heck of a 'daily' champagne at the 17.00 price point.

Cork broke off when trying to open, so most of the bubbles were squandered getting the stub out. Some fruit and chalk flavors, very dry. Not particularly memorable but OK for a quiet New Years Eve at home.
