Tenuta Valleselle, Amarone della Valpolicella, Aureum Acinum

Highly recommend for amarone lovers and at this point of maturation developing into a very good QPR wine. Stylistically a bit softer, more controlled, more muted and more refined then some amarones - not quite as intense, raisiney and almost port-like as some especially younger amarones we have had in the past and this may speak as much to the maturation as to the specific wine making style. Color of dark red. Scents of raspberry, strawberry and chocolate. Tastes consistent with scents and hanging nice and smooth acidity.
