Demeter Zoltan Furmint Tokaji Birtokbor

Had three bottles of this within a few weeks time. All in all 2012 seems to have been a rather poor year in Hungary (in Germany it certainly was). Still easily a good wine but nowhere from the shockers from 2007 or 2013. Bought it for 15 EUR which is way above the price it's sold in Hungary for. This price I'd say is a bit high for the quality.

Demeter Zoltán annual wine release 2013 (Budapest, Kempinsky Hotel Corvinus) : Furmint, 3350 liters made, ABV 14%, RS 5.2 g/l, TA 5.6 g/l, dry extract 19.4 g/l. Unripe peach, grapes, some spice; so clean, fresh and pure. Round on the palate, effortless, yet fleshy. A bit of sweetness and heat on the finish.
