The Bruery Terreux Oude Tart with Raspberries

After sitting in the bottle for nearly a full year, the blueberry flavor has diminished less than I had expected, but it's still not as dominant as I would like it to be. The sour is presenting a bit more lacto-heavy than I prefer these days, but it's not so overpowering that it can't savored. A crisp, delicious delight!

I was a little worried that the tartness of raspberry would put this over the top on the sour scale, but was pleasantly surprised to find it layered gently and deliciously balanced. It's not quite as divine as the cherries variant, but I certainly wish I had another bottle or two!

My first experience with this variety, and it was certainly a treat! The Bruery's base sour blonde is always tasty, and the blueberries added a nice tartness (and a killer color!) to the proceedings. Would've liked a touch more blueberry, but I could also be comparing it to Blue BBLs, which really isn't fair. Overall, this is slightly sweet and certainly sour delight!
