Maintain my earlier assessment: great QPR; ripe strawberries and cream with evolving complexity; waning effervescence, and a medium finish. Very good for the price but overall it just falls short for me.

Somehow there are two CT entries for this bubbly. Anyway, we had this last night & it was delicious & very expressive with bright red fruits, citrus & beautiful bubbles. Better than the previous bottle, so I don’t know if the wine has evolved or my palate was in a different place. Yum!

I purchased six of these along with six N.256 Prosecco in “tranche 2”. For <$15 USD, this exhibits a phenomenal QPR. Made using the Charmat method, this is lively and fresh: tart red strawberry and raspberry, zippy pink and orange citrus, and chalky minerals, all underscored with zingy acidity and some leesy notes. Medium plus finish. Effervescence starts to fade about 20 minutes after pouring each glass. Far better than many Italian sparklers I’ve enjoyed over the years, with absolutely …

This is much more open now and there's a bigger spice element on the nose and palate akin to what I got on day 2 of my first TN. Fantastic deal at $10.

Crisp strawberry, current & raspberry red fruits over a mouthwatering base of minerality & acidity. Perfectly balanced & lifted by fine, palate-tingling bubbles. I’d think it was a good value at $25 but it’s fantastic for $10. A real treat.

This wine sure had a journey getting here. I wanted to pop one of these open early to see if it had the ability to defend our remaining bottles of N.276. Orangish-pink in color. A moderate amount of tiny bubbles. Nose of strawberries, cream, lemon, minerals, and a bit of toast. Wish there as a bit more fizz since it was a bit heavy on the tongue. Medium bodied, bright acidity, presents dry, and laser guided minerality. Focused palate of …

Wine Details & Tasting Notes Looking for a fantastic bubbly that won't break the bank? The Fantinel family own over 300-hectares of vines planted in some of the best dirt in Grave, Colli Orientali del Friuli, and Collio districts in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (the northwest corner of Italy). They've been farming this land since the 60's and, under my friend Marco Fantinel's ceaseless efforts, have expanded their distribution to over 90 countries. If you are ever in the region, do not …
