Always tastes a bit sweet, but it works with the bubbles.

Had this years ago, but now the fruit has shedded, imagine your jammy aussie shiraz after 5 years of shedding its weight, but sparkling, this wine is evolved, the color is dark ruby with amber hints and shows some brown lightning near edges, lots of coffee bean, cinnamon on nose, brambly berry, somewhat zin like, the palate is smooth and showing dryness, anise and sweet cherry throughout, interesting evolution, last bottle, drank ice cold.

Nice and fizzy. Sweet and syrupy but still drinkable.

No. Seriously. It's that bad. It was like fizzy grape syrup. Or something else equally awful. I took about two sips and that was all I could handle. Avoid at all costs, unlike you enjoy punishing yourself for no reason. EDIT: Okay, so my wife discovered that this made a passable fizzy sangria-type concoction with the addition of some soda water and juice, so I am raising the score from 50 to 60 to reflect its one (repeat, one) and …

First sparkling shiraz so little ablity to compare with other wines of this type. Nose was very candied with a bit of sour cherry coming through. Taste was overwhelmingly candied fruit. Did have some structure and body, but not to my taste.

nose: candied grape, plums taste: sweet candied quality coming through the raspberry and blueberry flavors, tannins softened with small bubbles, straightforward wine

This tastes like sparkling fermented Welch's grape juice. Dessert sweet, nothing on the nose/palate except sweet grape, zero complexity, zero finish, completely uninteresting. 50 would be generous, but since that's the base of the scoring system and since it's Shiraz and from Australia and not the Concord grape from who knows where, I added 3 points. Dear Madriatico, please find me and I will show you a real 90+ wine. I cannot comprehend giving this wine 100 points.

This wine is quite good and well balanced, with plenty of fruit and spice, herb, and blueberry notes. The high alcohol (15%) is well balanced by the fruit structure, and it doesn't taste hot at all. A very good value for an everyday drinker.
