Running strong - beautiful champagne, fine bubble, boasts green apple and chalk on the nose. the palate is delicate and long.

Tasted blind. Juxaposed between the Egly VP and Bollinger Grand Annee. This was clearly the lightest wine. Good balance, lovely citrus notes. Medium- complexity.

First time with this producer. Very tough to follow the outstanding 2012 vilmart Blanches Voies but this held up very well. Clean, high toned entry and good persistence. Impressed.

Bubbles at Dinings (Dinings SW3) : Quite a big Champagne - this has noticeably developed since I first tried it in 2021. Classical and straightforward flavour profile, with a little smoke, though seemed a touch sweet after the icy rapier of the Vilmart. That said, this was a really tasty wine.

Highly competent but never caught fire. Another 2012 that came across lean and lithe rather than big and burly. Some tasty autolytic notes increasingly prominent with air. Not particularly good value.
