This wine had a significant amount of Acetic acid. I can not believe it had this high volatile acidity when it was bottled so something allowed the alcohol to be converted in the bottle. Fruit flavors were disappointing and there was little finish. It was drinkable but it could only get worse with time.

Color: Deep Purple and Thicker Meniscus Nose: Oaky, Black Cherry, Olive Taste: Some Dark Fruit up front; Moves to a Olive and Truffle Richness in the middle; Finishes with an Oaky and Acidic Finish; Stronger than Expected Tannins Comp’s: A less Fruity Syrah Especially compared to Australian ones; Almost like a Hermitage but less Acidic; Good with food
