Decoy Sauvignon Blanc

A rather dull wine. Not worth getting again.

Citrus and grapefruit pith with minerality on the back end. Moderate finish. Solid effort. Better than duckhorn.

purchased for a barbecue party in case I ran out of wine and no one drank it. So I opened a bottle and it is as bad as expected.

Sharp, lemony flavor but subtle for a sauvy B. Not super acidic, mild dryness. Great with roasted chicken and potatoes.

This wine is a bit of a fruit bomb but I found it to be perfect for a "during the week" wine. Very drinkable with or without food. On the Nose- Grapefruit and tropical fruits On the Palate- Guava, grapefruit, tropical fruit, star fruit, a bit of pith. Nice acidity and a long finish.

Very good, fresh, nuanced, light, none of the over grassy, grapefruit of other SB's
