Beautiful nose of peaches, apricots and honeysuckle flowers drizzled in sourwood honey then baked in an oven until slightly caramelized. Rich and somewhat sweet, but still fresh. This is delicious, and not as unctuously sweet as i expected. A wonderful after dinner wine for those that don’t want diabetes, i can’t get over the freshness and youthfulness. 93.

Incrível. Vinho que nos passa a delicadeza e tranquilidade. Aromas com frutas e leve toque oxidativo. Em boca envolvente e suave como flores.

Nose of waxy yellow plum, quince and lemon. Light palate, decent flavor. medium finish, bitter on the end. Nothing special.

Mature Israeli wines tasting (at Adina's) : Sweet apple, honey and pears aromas. Elegant, medium bodied, well balanced, nice acidity, fine juice, aged notes of apricots, medium sweet, feminine finish. very good value for money!

Rich gold colour. A bit of ullage, 15-odd mil below cap. Sweet apple, honey and pears on the nose. Palate is showing the aged notes, but not dead. Similar notes to the nose with apricots, still some acitidy holding things together. Not especially sweet maybe off-dry in feel now. Clean finish. A satisifying and interesting 22 year old wine that's certainly still got something to show.

Lots of citrus on the nose with a color that hides the age. Still vibrant acidity and just a hint of sweetness. Really, really good.

Tried 2 Bottles - Actually the bottles have a story of themselves. Called the little ladies they are made according to very old bottles found int he cellars. 1st bottle was flat, but the second was vey nice with a smoothness to it and nise nose. Amazing value ... and good party discussion for wine geeks like us.

A little bit of ullage, maybe a centimeter. Pale golden color, a bit viscous. Muted nose, but some pear came through. On the palate, it was nice, but a bit of a disappointment. age starting to come through a bit (which is not really a bad thing for me, but for others...).

Notes of pear and apricot on the nose. Very pleasant on the palate where the pear really comes through. Unfortunately, this was poorly paired with a dessert course, so was not able to shine.

375ml, 12.8% This comes in a baby clavelin style bottle, sealed with a very dinky, tiny cork. It’s a bright mid yellow gold colour. Very attractive, delicate nose with a zesty, sherbetty citrus note. Light and fragrant on the attack, it then fills out a lot. Possibly it’s just a touch oxidised. It’s got decent balance with a gentle understated sweetness. Nice and clean, especially on the finish. This is fine and elegant, with notable length.

Stinky at first with a real "new car smell" moving to a nicely acidic drink. Zingy and intense. Chenin is certainly unique. Quite interesting.

A dinky little 375ml bottle with a noticeably deep punt. Sealed with wax. Well, that's a surprise: it's fizzy! I wasn't expecting that. A deep straw colour. The nose is rather weird, though includes notes of honeyed botrytis and apricots: a very intense, super-concentrated and very dry-smelling nose. But a rather odd nose. On the palate it's very full and has a demi-sec weight to it. A gentle pétillance on the palate. Quite intensely flavoured. A bit like a touch …

Seattle Tasting Group does "American Bordeaux Varietals" (plus 1992-1997 Pahlmeyer Red) (Seattle, WA, USA) : A somewhat sweaty and salty element on the nose. Rated as semi-dry, the palate is lively with nice acidity and a hint of sweetness. This has gorgeous restraint and was a lovely way to start the dessert flight.
