Must be at its peak. Plenty of fruit with ripe tannins are the end. Very deep and great body. For $20 this is a real winner.

Leather and pepper spice that evolve into oak and tar on the nose. Raspberries and blackberry(blueberry?) and licorice make their attack but retreat quickly into a short, dry tannic/acidic finish. It may flesh out and lengthen with a little time. A very complex Cotes-du-Rhone
