Yummy. Rather sweet on the palate but with an acididty to back it up. Rich, tropical fruit that is still full of energy. Last bottle of the vintage unfortunately. An outstanding entry level riesling.

Great mineral notes slipping through the rich but balanced tropical fruit. Also some petroleum in the sweet, juicy finish. This is a great wine on this level and we choose to finish our remaining bottles rather soon while the fruit is still intact and the acidity is still high.

A solid basic Riesling from Willi and a decent value, up against the entry level Donnhoff bottlings. A bit of tropical fruit with a medium mouthfeel from residual sugars, but not too sweet. Just a hint of acid on the back end but it could perhaps use a touch more. Otherwise hard to complain... this went down like water.

One of several bottles tried with a grill roasted suckling pig, but the only Riesling. Sharp and tart, plenty of aroma and great taste of citrus, apple, and other bright fruit. The wine and the light smokiness of the meat were an almost perfect match. Far and away the best choice for this meal.

très bien, belle sucrosité naturelle, belle minéralité, aurait mérité d'être un peu plus tendu

apples, slate and peppercorns in the taste and just enough sweetness to make it great with some halibut in a chilli/garlic and coconut milk sauce. Not spectacular but a very good wine for the price. The group killed two bottles.

Alcohol 9% 2.583.154.01.09. Popped and poured. This is a serious QBA that punching above its level on the label as this has the weight of a very good Kabinett. Though soft on the nose, it is expressive with mineral, chalk, grapefruits, lemon with touch of floral that offered some complexity. Good weight, richness and concentration that is beautifully balance and layer with good precision and focus. A QBA? I will buy any of this at QBA price. Grape fruits, lemon, …

Aromas of lime, minerals, spice. Palate of baked apples and apricot, with a bit of spritz. Spicy mineral finish. Needs more backbone, but otherwise it's wonderful. Outstanding entry level riesling.

Very vibrant. Fresh, very pure tasting bottle. Definately on the more reserved "classic" side, but a joy to drink. Took two days to really come out of it's shell. Drink or hold.

Nose of green pear and peaches. A little spritz on the palate. Very young and dry now.
