Athair Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard

Bought this wine for the Sangiacomo grapes, and they sing! This is a big Cali pinot, but with some Burgundian-style undercurrents. Color is deeply ruby. There's some forest floor of burgundy, but it's not overpowering. Taste is fruit-forward, focused on fresh red fruits like strawberries. Completely PNP. Indeed, my only criticism might be that the bouquet and big tastes fell off some as we drank the bottle. But not a lot. Suggests this wine is set for immediate consumption. And …
