La Bodega del Tesoro Jumilla Monastrell-Shiraz

Powerful yet easy drinking, with a good deal of complexity on the nose... Probably a little on the 'hot' side, and I suspect will never fully resolve, so drink soon. Overall represents another excellent value wine from Jumilla (under £5).

Averys Easter Tasting (Averys, Bristol) : A little over-oaked, particularly in the finish, which is a little sickly. Some good dark fruit thought, and certainly flavourful. Lots of tannin, fair amount of acid, needs a few years to settle.
