Santa Amalia Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Sanama

As noted in my last note for this wine, I picked up a few bottles cheap in an online auction. Most were well past it. Sadly, this bottle was also too far gone (the last one was drinkable). This bottle had port-like characteristics. I occasionally see more bottles of this wine come up in online auctions. For a few dollars a bottle, it's worth the chance, but tread carefully.

I picked up 4 bottles of this wine VERY cheap in an on line auction. I was a novice at the time and thought that I had scored big time. I was so disappointed by the first 2 bottles that I opened. The corks must have been compromised because the wine was heavily oxidised, very acidic and very brown.
