I had my boyfriend taste blind after opening. He identified that it "had age" but could not determine that it was a zin - a very appropriate observation. Based on CellarTracker drinkability dates, this wine should have been well past its prime but it wasn't. The wine was very nice - a light zin that still had some fruit.
