Over the hill. Sherry pale yellow color. Dried fruit - apricot. Still good- but drink it either alone or with some meat.

I am close to 89 rather disappointed - medium acidity - less dominant than in the last bottle - but the wine is still lacking character - an okay balance -staying for now at 90.

A solid 90 chardonay acidity is still a bit dominant - the fruit is apple and citrus and clearly some butter from the oak - a nice wine.

This was a very borderline chardonnay. Was best first day but quickly lost its appeal. Always trying chardonnays outside of California but none can compete.

Goes well with subset soap this is a woody Chardonnay - medium acidity and acidity is a bit to dominant clearly affecting the overall balance of the wine - which is lovering my rating to 90 - the fruit is apple and citrus and clearly some butter.

Nice yellow colour. Buttery, yellow fruit nose. Vey present. Can feel that this one was oaked, but chardonnay is not doubt. Body promises to be a nice "strong" medium body & creamy. In mouth acidity first comes out and fruity and smoother side come farther after. With taste lingering nice on the finish; nice length! VERy much liked this one .. which is for me a crowd pleaser. Opened this bottle for a dish with raw tuna with horseradish mousse …

Decanted for 45min before drinking. A quite deep golden colour. Apples, tropical fruit, some toasted oak notes. The nose keeps evolving as the wine heats in the glass. Medium body, with a good acidity, but it's abit short. It will definetly last another couple of years, an hopefully develope some more complexity. Was wonderfull with pan seared halibut, sweet potato purre and a fennel sause.

Light straw yellow. Brilliant clear. High viscosity. Nose with sweet spices. Palate with hints of citrus and spice. Some fennel in an otherwise quite long ending. After a day in the fridge there is not much change. The flavors are possibly more highlighted.

During an Italian dinner with a larger group. very popular. Golden yellow. The style of this wine is buttery, Californian but without being a bruiser. Not my style of wine but hard to dislike. Very well done. Go for it if you like this richer Chard style.

Deep yellow colour; rich, golden. Ripe apple and pastry with citrus and honey; full and rich palate. Strong oak presence but well balanced by acidity and fruit. Spice and cream. Very good oaky styled chardonnay - this has refreshment.

Fantastic first impression, dark yellow, intense and creamy with tons of exotic fruits and good balance between acidity, bitterness and wood. I think they made a Trockenbeerenauslese trocken. Das letzte Drittel der Flasche zeigt weniger Frucht, dafür ätherische Noten, Ballistol und das Holz tritt deutlich hervor. Absolut geil.

I had hoped this burgundian style chardonnay had more aging potential, but I was either wrong or got the wrong bottle. This one is losing its freshness and is definitely past its prime time.

Vibrant. Loads of fruit some of them excotic but not toppling over. Fab acidity, standing erect. gorgeous with grilled tuna. Had it fist in Giardini, Sicily, and it works just as well here in a cold and windy Sweden.

Giallo oro intenso. Naso opulento e maturo di frutta tropicale, pera. tostatura da legno ancora da assorbire. Opulento e maturo anche in bocca dove prevale la morbidezza a scapito della componente acido/dura. Finale di buona lunghezza.

I'm guessing it's premoxed from the heavy yellow hue in the glass. Note to self: do not buy wine from an open-air drug store, especially when the store is in a climate as warm as Milan.

Wine Education Service Sicily Tasting (LSE, London) : This won't be everyone's taste, but I love these buttery, rich chardonnays. Nose of tropical fruit, butterscotch, marzipan, nuts. Very creamy, very rich. Smooth, lush palate. Ripe fruit, full and unctuous. Just a little heat on the finish.

As usual you get marzipan, honey, almonds and butterscotch on the nose and a full-bodied, creamy and rich mid-palate, with a dark golden color and a long finish. But this vintage is not as balanced as the 2006 as it shows over-exposure to oak. Drink from now until 2013.
