Quite nice. Probably my sixth time with this since release; maturing nicely. On the PnP, this had some pretty strong place/sous bois aromas that dominated for the first 15 minutes in the glass. Following, the aromas shifted to a more classic typicity, with some signs of the vintage weighing more on the nose than the med/med+ bodied palate. Elegant, and long, this riserva, to my palate, is in its preferred window, and should probably be enjoyed over the following 6-10 …

Wow, this is a great wine. It's dark-ish (for Nebbiolo), but it's not over-worked or tiresome in any way. Served blind, I'd have been in the $50-$100 category without exception. The aromas are intense after just 60 minutes in wide-bottom decanter; though the fabric of the flavors/layers of fruit are more hesitant to unwind.
