The bottle was is perfect condition: high fill, the cork was intact, no seepage. The wine had a beautiful medium orange-golden colour and offered dried stone fruit, ripe apricot, peach pit, orange peel, bruised apple, beeswax and black tea leaves on the nose and palate, with good acidity and good length of the bitter, mint tea-infused finish.
