Interesting Swiss wine, made from 100 percent Heida grapes (Païen/ Traminer family), an indigenous grape-varietal found only in the canton of Wallis. Bright pale yellow color and a savory nose of ripe peach and citrus fruit, white flowers and a hint of melon. Round, well balanced palate plenty of succulent, exotic fruit elements, supported by a vibrant acidity. Harmonious, slightly honeyed finish. A very good aperitif wine. Drink it now through 2015.
