Slight improvement from my last note of three years ago. It has developed a peculiar taste that is hard to describe but it did add to the charm of this wine.

Nose of tobacco, leather. Taste of black berries, plum, and vanilla. The wine is slightly unbalanced with the acidity of sangiovese prominent. Despite that there is good body, and a very long finish. For a Quebec wine the cost of $55 is very expensive. Taking the price out of the equation this is a tremendous effort from a region not know for quality reds.I do not understand the other rating of 78 that was given. I just wish that when …
