Popped the last one ahead of plan. No regrets. Crunchy red fruits, streak of acidic spine, long. A really useful bottle to have on hand.

Better now than 2 years ago, and I loved it then. Less crunch, more resonance. Holding my last bottle just for the sheer experimentation of finding out where it’s going next is an option; the safer play to ensure max pleasure is drink before end of year. We’ll see.

No notes, a bit on the lean side, but I liked it, with a crunchy red fruits, herbal, and mineral profile. Nice food wine. Drink up - not showing advanced age, but not containing the substance to improve. 13% abv

Sweet brambly red fruit. A pretty decent easy drinking Beaujolais, decent value around €11.

What a delicious wine this is. Flowers, herbs, minerals, and juicy red fruits, commingled in just the right proportions. Again, a really delicious beverage.

Sweet pipe tobacco and leather nose with some balsamic-raspberry notes, quite earthy/rustic, some salinity and a bit disjointed tasting but pleasant with food nonetheless, including homemade French onion soup when it showed its best. Tannins are dry but not overly rough, maybe another year or 2 of life but would't think too hard about it.

Nose cherry and red raspberry with some nice bramble. Tea like tannins on palate carries into finish. Great acidic freshness. Wonderful with food.

Pop and pour. Excellent Beaujolais with good concentration and richness for gamay. Subtle secondary elements add elegance and complexity. Good match with simply grilled salmon.

Medium garnet colour, shows signs of age Some rotting wet leaves aromas (in a good way!) and tertiary notes, as well as typical Beaujolais aromas Seems like a yeast-driven fermentation rather than semi-carbonic maceration. A serious rather than playful wine. This is a very pretty and gentle Beaujolais. Wow. Given this blind, no way I would have guessed gamay. The 100+ year old vines have provided this wine with SO much concentration. It’s austere: the fruit profile is all dark cherry and black cherry with noticeable oak influence - a bit one-dimensional, if I’m being honest. Infinitely drinkable. Was expecting it to be too sweet or light but not the case. Nothing like nouveau but also not complex. Primary cherries make it a crowd pleasure. Not in the tier for me as better cru Beaujolais. Good if you or your company like red fruit forward and high acidity reds. Fun to drink.

Dry. Cherry and raspberry color and flavor and aromas. Still has some grip. Fairly expressive. I’m pleased with it.

Perrachon Julienas Les Moulines is a perky, delightful dinner companion, lithe on the palate, berry sweetness accompanied by lively acidity. Should have bought 4 cases instead of 4 bottles.

A very fine and complex nose of raspberry, cherry, rose petal and violet. The palate has great balance and proportion. It is elegant wine but there's real depth. The energetic finish fans out and shows outstanding persistence.

All purple flowers and purple fruits. There's a light thread of spice weaving through the aroma and flavour profiles. It is very pretty and crunchy and possess a high mineral base.

Raspberry compote, nearly dense but also clear as day, with some tones of black pepper and cardamom to balance out. Bracing acidity clears the palate, almost like citrus zest; so much so that if I were tasting this without sight, could see how I might have pegged it as a white wine. This is such a good wine, and great with food. Sorry it's my last bottle.

Cru Beaujolais simply remains by far the best deal in the wine world today. $14 for this? Minerality in spades, nice spice to go with the medium light red fruit. A very nice sense of place. Maybe just a tad bit young, but no quibbles.

The drinking window supposedly doesn't start for a couple of years on this one, but I cracked on and aerated it. Sure, it is still a bit tight, but it is enjoyable now for sure, especially if you're a fan of ligher weight mid-Loire reds; lean, poised, bright red fruits, stones, and some earth. Food friendly, but with a nose that makes you come back for more whether there's food or not.
