Not as bad as you might think; drink immediately, very, very cold

Wine & Tapas: Rhone Valley vs. Central Coast (Rhone Whites) (Novo Restaurant and Lounge, San Luis Obispo) : Flowers, grass and apples. Nice depth and complexity on the mid palate. Good minerality. Finishes very dry and light in acidity making it a bit flabby or heavy.

This wasn't bad to drink. It just didn't taste like viognier. Can't tell whether it was flawed or whether I just don't get what is going on in the bottle. Nice acidity and a long finish. But there was a butterscotchy creamy note to it that just seemed out of place. I'd like to try another one sometime but not at $35.
